The Villa With Its Own Boat

Newest to the Mandarin Adventure Collection: a 24-foot villa-owned leisure and fishing boat — 250 HP Mercury engine, Garmin GPS fish finder, full Bluetooth stereo and leather seating — launched from the villa’s private beach on Lipa Noi, with six fishing rods and tackle boxes waiting on shore.

The short answer: Mandarin Beach Villa now has its own boat. A 24-foot leisure and fishing boat — 250 HP Mercury engine, Garmin GPS fish finder, Bluetooth stereo and leather seating — joins the villa-owned fleet of two 2024 Sea-Doo jet skis, a Hobie Cat catamaran, kayaks and paddleboards. Villa-owned and insured, not hired in; trips are arranged with the villa team and launched from the private Lipa Noi beach. Six fishing rods and tackle boxes are kept at the villa.

The boat, in detail

What a boat changes about a family holiday

Lipa Noi’s calm, sunset-facing water is the reason the villa’s watersports fleet lives here — and a boat completes it. Mornings become family fishing trips, guided by the fish finder and six rods rigged from the villa’s own tackle boxes. Afternoons become swimming stops in open water. Evenings become the west coast’s famous sunset seen from the sea with the stereo playing — the same sunset the beach watches, from the water’s side.

Because the boat is villa-owned, it works the way the whole estate works: no rental counters, no third-party operators, no queueing for a charter. It is launched from the villa’s own beach and arranged with the villa team around your family’s day — the same way the jet skis, catamaran and kayaks already work.

Booked months before you land — never after you arrive. Every trip — fishing mornings, swimming stops, sunset cruises and days out to the Ang Thong National Marine Park, whose islands stand on the horizon in front of the villa — is planned and confirmed through the villa’s own guest portal months before your family arrives: dates held, boat prepared, crew briefed. Villas that leave trip bookings until after check-in leave families waiting on peak-week availability and hoping for the best; at Mandarin the schedule is locked before your flight leaves home. You arrive 100% booked, and nothing your family is looking forward to is left to chance.

Part of a fleet no rental brochure can match

Every craft is owned and insured by the villa — why that matters is explained in why private equipment beats rental shops, and the full fleet story lives in the Mandarin Adventure Collection.

Frequently asked questions

Does the villa really own the boat?

Yes — like the jet skis, catamaran and kayaks, the boat is the villa’s own, insured, and maintained by the villa team. It is not chartered or hired in.

How do boat trips work?

Trips are arranged with the villa team during your stay and launched from the private beach in front of the villa — fishing mornings, swimming stops and sunset cruises are the favourites.

Is fishing equipment provided?

Yes — six fishing rods with tackle boxes are kept at the villa, and the boat’s Garmin GPS fish finder helps find the marks on the calm west-coast waters.

Is this included in the villa’s all-inclusive approach?

The boat is part of the villa’s own Adventure Collection — not third-party rental. Ask the villa team when planning your stay and they will arrange trips around your family’s days.
