The Mandarin experience begins before the flight lands. Through the villa’s secure pre-arrival guest system, the team learns who is travelling and how the family wants to live during the stay.
Bedrooms Are Prepared for the Actual Family
Room allocations, bed arrangements and the family’s selected items from Mandarin’s villa-owned children’s equipment are agreed before arrival and installed in the appropriate suites.
Five of the six suites are on the ground floor, helping families place grandparents, young children or guests who prefer fewer steps comfortably.
Parents do not arrive at the villa and begin negotiating bedrooms or searching storerooms for equipment.
Essential Family Equipment Is Confirmed—Not Guessed
Mandarin owns and permanently keeps its nursery and children’s equipment at the estate. Before arrival, the family confirms which items are required, and the team cleans, safety-checks and installs them in the appropriate suites and vehicles. The equipment is included and already at the villa; only its configuration is personalised.
Parents may still bring the personal things their children prefer, including medicines, formula and favourite comfort items.
The difference is that they do not have to repeatedly ask what the villa owns, wonder whether enough equipment will be available or spend the first hour locating and setting it up.
Airport Arrival Is Part of the Stay
Complimentary VIP airport transfers are arranged around the family’s flight details. The inbound flight is tracked so the arrival team works from the actual landing time rather than simply the scheduled time.
The team fits the appropriate seats from Mandarin’s six villa-owned ISOFIX child seats before the family’s airport transfer, and luggage is handled from arrival through to the villa.
Complimentary VIP airport transfers and use of the villa-owned, fully insured self-drive SUV are included with every stay, subject to driving-licence, local-law and safety requirements. For direct All-Inclusive bookings, the villa-owned VIP van and staff chauffeur are also included for journeys throughout the stay. For all other reservations, the van and chauffeur remain available, with additional journeys charged separately per trip.
The family’s first experience of Mandarin is not a taxi queue or a negotiation. It is a prepared arrival.
The Kitchen and Chef Are Ready
The full-time private chef is briefed on dietary requirements, children’s preferences, meal times and the family’s first dining arrangements before arrival.
Groceries can be pre-stocked and are charged at the actual local purchase cost with 0% villa markup, supported by the original receipts.
Parents can still choose what their family eats. They simply do not have to shop, cook, reserve restaurants or clean up afterwards.
Activities Are Already Part of the Estate
Parents do not need to begin each day by researching activities, comparing hire companies or arranging transport across Koh Samui.
Mandarin’s villa-owned collection includes a Hobie Cat, 24-foot boat, six kayaks, two paddleboards, six bodyboards, mountain bikes, beach and pool games, table tennis, pool table, outdoor cinema, PlayStation 5, Xbox and Nintendo Switch.
The Hobie Cat, boat, kayaks, paddleboards and bodyboards operate from the beachfront when conditions permit.
Mandarin’s two Sea-Doo Fish Pro Trophy personal watercraft are kept, serviced and launched through nearby Lipa Noi Marina. Motorised activities remain subject to the correct licence, signed waiver, weather, tides and the villa team’s safety assessment.
Everything does not have to be used. The point is that the family has choices without asking a parent to construct an itinerary every morning.

The principal living areas, lawn, pool, beachfront sala and beach form one connected family environment rather than being spread between different buildings or levels.
A glass beachfront safety fence creates a physical boundary between the garden and direct access to the beach. Requested internal safety gates and baby monitors can also be prepared before arrival.
These design features make family supervision more practical. They do not replace active parental supervision around the swimming pool, beach, sea or activity equipment, and conditions must always be assessed at the time.
